Default Address in cPanel Hosting
Your email is a very sensitive part of your cpanel hosting. Its what you use to correspond with those who visit and participate in your website. Having a virus or other malicious software get in can cause your web hosting a lot of problems, especially if youre a reseller.
One of the best and perhaps the easiest things to do to prevent something so bad is to simply ignore email that you dont trust. Some spammers will attempt to let you think that someone is trying to email you by sending mail to addresses with different address but still under the same mailbox (i.e. anyemailname@yourwebsite.com will simply be redirected to your actual email, which had @yourwebsite.com in the address). If you know that you dont have an email address like the one the email was originally sent to.
The best way to help you do this is to put up a default address, which can be done through cPanel under Mail -> Default Address.
